About the association

The Tennisgemeinschaft Lörick eG (TGL) is a tennis club in the heart of Düsseldorf. In addition to our 7 ash courts and 3 Sportas all-weather courts, Meden and hobby players can hone their technique on our large ball wall or practice for exciting matches. In winter we have our own airdome, which we stretch over two of the three all-weather courts. Players of all levels find a connection with us: in 2023, TGL has registered 20 medal and hobby teams. We have also thought of our smallest guests: a large playground with slide, swings and sandbox invites you to romp around. This is easily visible from our large, magnificent sun terrace, which is framed by our unique water lily pond.

In addition to our extensive facilities, we are particularly proud of our gastronomy. Our club host Davinder and his wife Rani are wholeheartedly involved and spoil us culinary with Indian and international dishes in our kitchen, which will be completely renovated in 2023.

In case of bad weather, members and guests can use our adjacent clubhouse with its large bar and plenty of seating. Especially the long high table in the middle of the clubhouse invites to chat and sit together comfortably. At TGL, our club members and guests are offered many things besides tennis: Summer parties, goose dinners in the run-up to Christmas or musical evenings such as Christmas concerts or the Benefiz concert for Ukraine: there is something for everyone. Young and old and players of all levels feel at home with us. A good togetherness is important to us, because we experience “sport and fun in the circle of friends”.
